The Supply Chain Leadership Collaboration (SCLC) offers an opportunity for companies to engage, as customers, with their key suppliers on climate change issues. Suppliers are asked for their view on:

  • Risks and opportunities from climate change to their business
  • What they are currently doing to mitigate significant risks if they have identified any
  • How far have they currently developed mechanisms for carbon accounting of scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions
  • What emissions data they are currently able and willing to disclose, publicly or confidentially to their customer
  • How they are able to allocate their emissions to different product groups or business units
  • How they engage with their own suppliers in turn
