Climate Disclosure Leadership Index (CDLI)

The independent analysts who write the CDP annual reports grade the responses of companies within the FT500 sample, on the quality of disclosure. They rank companies within what is now called the Climate Disclosure Leaders Index.

In the 2007 FT500 Report, there is also a Climate Leaders Matrix, which ranks the CDLI companies against environmental performance. This helps analysts and investors assess how a company is performing as compared to its quality of disclosure on climate issues.
