CDP 2009 Questionnaire

 

The new Questionnaire for CDP 2009 (CDP7) is now available to download. The supplementary questions for the Electric Utility and Auto  sectors can also be downloaded.


Consultation Phase

Timeline
The CDP 2009 Questionnaire will be sent to the Chairmen of 3,500 companies globally in February 2009, at which point the Online Response System (ORS) will be opened for the submission of responses. In order to see the layout of the ORS the planning document is available here. CDP will also email the login and registration information to access the ORS to Responding Company contacts. The deadline for completed responses is 31 May 2009.

Companies may receive an additional set of questions on 1 April 2009, sent on behalf of the companies to whom they provide goods or services. These questions relate to CDP’s Supply Chain project and the deadline for these additional questions will be 31 July 2009. Companies which receive requests from both investors and customers are still required to submit the CDP 2009 Questionnaire by 31 May.  Only the additional supply chain questions may be submitted after 31 May.

Guidance
A detailed guidance document giving further information regarding the questions and the expected responses will be available here from December.

Methodology
The official CDP response scoring methodology will be available here from February 2009. This methodology will be used across a number of CDP reports including Global 500, S&P 500 and FTSE 350 Reports.

(Please note that not all of our external CDP report authors and analysts will use this scoring methodology in the production of their reports)
